This Saturday (January 31st), we hosted the 11th ICAN Chinese New Year Gala. This year’s event attracted nearly 1200 attendees, setting a new record for the association’s Spring Festival Gala attendance. The atmosphere was vibrant and bustling before the event began, and it garnered many heartwarming positive reviews afterward!
The day began with a spectacular lion dance performance by six lions, instantly igniting the atmosphere. The presence of provincial legislators, the mayor, and city councilors added to the event’s brilliance.
The audience responded enthusiastically with continuous applause. Wonderful performances from our Chinese community, as well as choirs and dance troupes from Malaysia, Lebanon, the Philippines, and other countries, provided a rich and unique cultural experience for everyone.
After the event, Mayor Knack posted on LinkedIn, expressing his support and appreciation for our event. We were deeply honored and moved by this encouragement.
